Shipping & Returns Policy

1. Order Production Policy

At Laxmi Jewellers, every piece of jewellery is handcrafted and made to order using certified lab-grown diamonds.

Once production begins, all custom-made jewellery is considered final sale.

A piece is considered custom-made if it includes:

  • Custom ring sizing
  • Selected lab-grown diamond specification (cut, clarity, carat, colour)
  • Custom setting design
  • Engraving or personalisation
  • Custom metal choice (gold purity or colour)
  • Any made-to-order specification

Under UAE Consumer Protection Law, custom-made items are non-returnable unless defective.

For UK and EU customers, goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under consumer regulations.

Therefore:

Custom jewellery cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has started.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin production.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before shipping.
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable once production begins.

By placing an order, you confirm agreement with these terms.

3. Ready-to-Ship / Standard Collection (If Applicable)

If Laxmi Jewellers offers ready-made, non-custom pieces:

  • Returns may be requested within 7 days of delivery.
  • Item must be unworn and unused.
  • Original packaging must be intact.
  • Security tags must not be removed.
  • Item must not have been resized or modified.
  • Refunds are processed after inspection and approval.

Shipping costs and customs duties are non-refundable.

4. Ring Sizing Policy

We understand sizing can be challenging.

We offer:

  • One complimentary resizing within 30 days of delivery.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways.
  • If the design structure makes resizing impossible, a store credit may be issued at our discretion.

Resizing requests beyond 30 days may incur charges.

5. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect specification
  • Incorrect size due to our error

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

In such cases, we will:

  • Repair the item, or
  • Replace the item, or
  • Provide a refund if repair/replacement is not possible

This does not apply to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse

6. Shipping Policy

Processing Time

All custom jewellery requires a production period prior to dispatch. Estimated production timelines will be provided at checkout.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide from Dubai, UAE.

  • Customers are responsible for:
  • Import duties
  • VAT
  • Customs clearance charges
  • Any local taxes

Shipping times vary depending on destination and customs procedures.

Once dispatched, Laxmi Jewellers is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

Shipping Insurance

All shipments are fully insured during transit.

Risk transfers to the customer upon successful delivery confirmation.

7. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled only before production begins.
  • Once production has started, cancellation is not permitted.
  • Deposits are non-refundable after production commencement.

8. Chargeback & Policy Agreement Protection

By placing an order on our website, you confirm that:

  • You understand that jewellery is made to order.
  • You agree that custom items are non-refundable once production begins.
  • You accept our shipping, return, and resizing terms.

This policy is clearly linked at checkout and must be accepted before purchase confirmation.

9. B2B Orders (Trade / Wholesale)

For trade clients:

  • All sales are final.
  • No returns or exchanges.
  • Production begins only after written approval of design and specifications.
  • Defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

10. Lifetime Services

Laxmi Jewellers proudly offers:

  • Lifetime cleaning
  • Lifetime inspection
  • Warranty coverage for manufacturing defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage
  • Improper handling
  • Third-party modifications
  • Normal wear and tear

11. Legal Jurisdiction

All transactions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to Dubai courts unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in the customer’s country of residence.
